WIFTI Panel at Cannes Film Festival: My SHERO and I

‏We represent a diverse range of landscapes and cultures, but we share a common purpose in our industry: gender, employment, and rights equality. Things have changed, are changing, and will continue to change as we work along to accomplish our objectives.
‏One of the things that brings us together is being a part of WIFT, which is built on the strength of every woman of every chapter throughout the world. When we work together, we make a difference, and we’re all Shero to ourself and others.
‏

Each of us has at least one Shero who serves as a role model. Whether she comes from the movies, literature, history, or the women around us, she inspires us and allows us to put our skills to use.
‏In the spirit of where we are, we chose our shero from the movies. During the panel, we’ll learn about the participants‘ Shero, how she helped them grow, and, most importantly, how we can all use our own Shero to achieve the personal and professional objectives we’ve set for ourselves.
